You need 70 7-8 inches long wooden shims. Cut one end of each shim at a 45-degree angle. Place half of the shims on the surface in such a way that all their ends point in the same direction. Now, place the second half of the shims so that their angles were opposite the angles of the first set. Divide the shims into seven groups by 10.

Using a spray paint, color each group into a different color and let the pieces dry. Draw three vertical lines on the wall, which will serve as center lines for your chevrons. Attach sticky tabs to the back of each shim. Place the shims with the cut ends along the line on the left side and then on the right side, forming the chevron pattern.
